Alumni Trip: Friends and family welcome

Tailored for climbers of all experience levels, these trips focus on skills including climbing techniques, knots, rope handling, belaying, anchors, protection placement, traditional and sport climbing systems, rappelling, and lead climbing theory. You'll might develop face and crack climbing skills and gain experience with multi-pitch climbing.

You will work hard during this trip, but you will play hard as well. And you will leave with the skills necessary to climb in the wilderness long after the end of the trip. No matter your climbing background, your instructors will challenge and improve your techniques.

This is a great trip for non-grad guests and family.

Upcoming Trip Locations
Adirondack State Park, NY: Venture into the wilds of this park, which spans 6 million acres and is home to over 3,000 climbing routes. The Park’s shady granite crags, classic lines, sweeping vistas, and fiery foliage make this the perfect fall climbing destination.

Cochise Stronghold, AZ: The granite cliffs, buttes and ridges of the Southwest have been shaped by the forces of nature into strikingly picturesque formations. Deep canyons, rocky domes, tall spires and bald summits dominate the landscape creating a wilderness rock climber's dream.

What Our Grads Say

"Our alumni climbing trip was a fantastic few days. As a couple with a wide range of climbing abilities, my wife and I were amazed at how effectively the instructors created climbing options appealing to
the full spectrum of experience within the group. The Instructor team also enabled a fantastic group dynamic by balancing teaching with facilitating fun opportunities. We'll be back on another trip soon."
