If you’re interested in a career in the outdoors then this semester’s combination of outdoor living, leadership, rescue skills, and wilderness medicine is designed for you. On this semester, you’ll learn NOLS’ fundamental outdoor living and travel skills as well as medical and rescue skills including rock and swiftwater rescue certifications. The course includes 10 days of classroom-based Wilderness First Responder curriculum, and 6-7 weeks in the great outdoors practicing leadership and expedition behavior, outdoor and rescue skills.
