This trip has been canceled for the Spring of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are excited to run it again in 2021.
Come to NOLS Mexico for this skill focused Alumni seminar where you will push your kayak skills to the next level while soaking in the coastal vibe of our Mexico campus.
Designed around developing you as a kayaker this seminar will base camp on the water at our campus near Mulegé, Mexico so that time can be spent working on your kayaking instead of moving camp.
Mornings will be group lessons where everyone will work on kayak fundamentals while afternoons will have 1 on 1 instruction with our kayak coaches diving into advanced paddling. Our local staff will throw in some optional activities such as Spanish lessons, movie night, and time in a Mexican kitchen.
This is a great trip for anyone looking to build confidence in a kayak or develop specific kayak skills. Whether you are a novice kayaker working on fundamentals or more advanced boater trying to pick up a new role, this is a great trip for you.
*This trip involves lots of time in kayaks and desert camping.
