On the Outdoor Leadership Trek, you will hone practical leadership strategies and technical outdoor skills over eight days of travel in the isolated red rock canyons of southern Utah. On a daily basis you will be challenged to exercise individual decisiveness while simultaneously facilitating excellent teamwork, skills relevant to school and business. The weather and terrain in this part of the world is often unpredictable and challenging, however, these conditions build resilience and tolerance for adversity and uncertainty.
There will be a strong focus on leadership styles. You will have the opportunity to connect academic theories to practical leadership skills as a designated leader and active follower. As you develop your situational leadership skills on this expedition, you will become more competent as a leader at school, in business, and in your social life.
