Elliott grew up in Northern New Mexico and Colorado. In Maine for college, Elliott pursued Conservation Biology and History while guiding trips with other students. After college Elliott traveled, studied, lived, and worked around the world. Today Elliott plants trees in Palo Alto California, and works as an Outdoor Instructor for REI leading one-day classes in Sea-Kayaking, Climbing, Cycling (Road & Mountain), Backpacking, and Navigation. He is a sailor, a trail runner, and typical all-around outdoor enthusiast. As a WEMT and NREMT-B, Elliott is excited to further his skills as an Instructor for NOLS Wilderness Medicine and NOLS Expeditions.
