Originally from Venezuela, Gabo came to NOLS as a student in 2007. With ample experience in experiential education and leading groups into the outdoors, Gabo joined our instructor pool in 2008 and has accumulated over 200 weeks in the field on the hiking, climbing, and mountaineering programs. In 2013, he became a Wilderness Medicine instructor and a WEMT. Most recently, you can find Gabo at our Patagonia campus where he currently leads our program team.
