Originally from Tennessee, Katie lived and worked all over before deciding to call Boise, ID home where she currently resides and works as an internal medicine physician assistant. She was a student on a NOLS East Africa course prior to college in Vermont. She taught environmental and outdoor education for various organizations prior to starting PA school and reconnecting with NOLS wilderness medicine. When she's not teaching wilderness medicine courses, Katie can likely be found mountain biking, skiing, or kayaking.
