Tre-C Dumais

Instructor

Tre-C Dumais

As a New England native, Tre-C Dumais grew up hiking and climbing in the Appalachian Mountains but migrated to Alaska after university. She has spent the last 20 years taking people of all ages to the mountains, amassing over 200 weeks in the field with NOLS in Alaska, Patagonia, and the Rocky Mountains. Tre-C also has guided seven summiters up Denali (in Alaska) and Mount Vinson (in Antarctica), skied to the south pole several times with clients, and guided clients on first ascent climbs in remote Antarctica. These days, Tre-C calls Fairbanks, Alaska home; she loves the arctic winter and works as an After School Coordinator when not nordic skiing or fat biking on the endless Alaska interior trails. The worst part about working in the field is trusting her husband to take care of her beloved cat, Juniper Gizmo. But Tre-C loves working as an educator because it allows her to help people become the best versions of themselves.
