Learn to lead in the mountains & on the water

Find your next adventure in the glaciated peaks of the North Cascades and striking coastline of the Pacific Northwest. Climb high mountain passes and paddle past quiet coves bounded by thick forest. Complete early morning peak ascents, watching the sun rise over jagged peaks veiled in clouds. Camp on pebbly beaches and fall asleep under the stars.

Starting with the basics of minimum impact camping and living comfortably in the outdoors, you’ll work your way up to technical skills like mountaineering and sea kayaking. Learn to travel on rock, snow, and ice high in the mountains. Hone your paddle technique and develop your navigation skills on both land and water.

Your instructors will guide you along the way, and as you gain confidence and experience, you’ll take on more leadership responsibilities. Practice good communication and risk management while leading a rope team across a glacier. Develop your decision-making skills in a dynamic ocean environment. Build a foundation that will prepare you to be a leader, no matter what you decide to pursue in the future.
