Cass grew up exploring the mountains, coastlines, and rivers of New Zealand. From a young age, her adventures have taken her across the world. Adventures that include caving by the light of New Zealand glow-worms, surf landing sea kayaks on the Norwegian coast, navigating through Alaskan icebergs, breath-taking Himalayan sunrises, and fierce sunsets over Galapagos Islands under sail.
She has had the fortune of leading expeditions in nine countries. Since 2003, Cass has been involved with NOLS as an instructor and in various in-town program positions. In that time she has accumulated 300+ field weeks.
