Originally from the vertically challenged state of Wisconsin, Eric has been working in the outdoor education field since 2000. He took his first NOLS course in the North Casacdes in 1997 and became an instructor in 2008. When not teaching for NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute he works as the Director of the Winona State University Outdoor Education and Recreation Center. In his free time he can be found running around on walls in Zion and Yosemite and going on outdoor adventures with his wife and 3 boys.
