Linda has been a NOLS instructor since 1979 and was the NOLS Human Resources Director for 26 years. Her career at NOLS included co-authoring the first edition of NOLS Wilderness Medicine, teaching Wilderness EMT courses, and field staff training coordinator. In between, her careers at NOLS she was a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse at Children’s Hospital in Denver. She has served on the boards of the Wilderness Medical Society, Leadership Wyoming and the Lander Community Foundation. She loves hiking, gardening, traveling and reconnecting with alumni on NOLS Alumni courses.
