Megan Massey

Megan graduated from the University of Arizona in 2011 with a degree in Microbiology and a fledgling passion for rock climbing. That year she took a Wilderness EMT course and was inspired to pursue a career in nursing. After a few interim dirtbag years of working as a climbing instructor and ski patroller, Megan became a Registered Nurse in 2015 and started her first nursing job in Flagstaff, Arizona. She now works as both an Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Department RN. Even though Megan loves her nursing career, she has never forgotten her passion for outdoor education. In an effort to combine the two worlds, Megan joined the NOLS Wilderness Medicine team. When not in the hospital or the classroom, Megan can be found biking, skiing and rock climbing with her dog Juniper in the amazing landscape of the Southwest.
