Scott is the founder and executive director of WeGotNext, an organization that amplifies stories from underrepresented communities in outdoor spaces. Scott is an experienced community bridge builder with a demonstrated ability to inspire small and large teams through growth that leads to inclusion, belonging and an equitable culture within an organization. While Scott’s leadership roles encompass a long list of organizations and partnerships, including spearheading equity and inclusion actions at Patagonia, an acting member of the Steering Committee for Diversity Outdoors Pledge, Honorary Co-Chair at The Organization for Tropical Studies, board member at The Brown Ascenders, his joy comes through in empowering underrepresented stewards of our outdoor spaces by developing spaces of belonging.
